Much renowned for the preservation of the art deco style during its refurbishment. I'm afraid I long for the Smoke Room, the Lounge, the upstairs Cocktail Lounge, and the rear Vaults, that and the fragrant odour of English Goldings from delicious Kimberley as it was 30 odd years ago. To me the modern "bar" is all rather ersatz.
