The West Bridgford Community Network currently gets more than 3,000 visits (over 10,000 hits) each month, from more than 1,000 different addresses.

A web page advertisement on www.westbridgford.net costs £4.99 per month and is probably the most cost effective way of gaining a high profile on the internet and reaching residents of West Bridgford. (See examples).

Approved adverts

  1. Must conform to W3C HTML 4.01 Transitional or better.
  2. Must not exceed a total page weight including all text and graphics of 18KB.
  3. Must be decent, honest and true.
  4. Must not use frames.
  5. Must not use scripts, cookies or the CGI.
Layouts submitted may be edited to ensure W3C conformity and to include links to other pages on the site.

An initial charge of £45 will be made for editing, validating and testing submitted layouts.

Advertising charges are currently £4.99 per month payable annually in advance.

Changes in annual advertising rates will be notified 15 days in advance. Notification will normally be to the contact e-mail address. Rate changes will also be publicised on www.westbridgford.net. The published rate shall be deemed sufficient notification should receipt of e-mail be denied.

The web site is frequently updated and design modification is sometimes necessary. The location of adverts within the web site will be at the discretion of the web master and may be subject to change with out notice.

Peak time for visits to the site is between 8am and midnight. The target availability for www.westbridgford.net during these hours is 99% over a calendar month.

Availability at other times is expected to be better than 90%.

Availability may be impacted by service provider, internet routing, DNS and other failures. No liability can be accepted for any loss, direct or indirect due to loss of availability.
